How it started

My mum had always loved sewing. From our bedsheets, to our blankets and even made her own clothes. We essentially grew up enclosed in the warmth of the furry flannel blankets, able to keep us warm even in air-conditioned rooms.

Her first introduction to children blankets were when my sister's first child was born. He and eventually my 2nd nephew, were introduced to her world and became clearly the center of her love and attention. My younger nephew in particular loved my mum's patchwork blankets, and now just past a year old, he would take it wherever he goes. He loves it when I play peekaboo with him using the blankets ;P

Seeing how much the kids loved the blankets, I started giving them out as baby shower gifts. They were very well received and some had asked for more. Hence the baby blanket business idea started to take off.

To add credibility, my sis registered my mum's business so please lay your fears to rest that my mum is a licensed business owner and hence can be trusted. Her blankets are also made from all new 100% cotton cloth (you can see how many different pieces are used to make just a single blanket!) However if you wish a simpler pattern (with less cloth variation) we will be happy to discuss it with you too =)

1. Business License - we are licensed with ACRA, so you can ensure credibility and we're here for the long run and not a fly by night type of business.
2. All blankets are made from new 100% cotton cloth only and have never been used before. Always look for this assurance when buying a patchwork blanket. You never know where some people get their scraps from.
3. Each blanket is handmade so no two are ever identical! Uniqueness is guaranteed!
